Making goo slime with Peterborough STEM Festival

Making your own slime / goo at home is great fun for children and a great way to learn about solids and liquids.  We’ve been making slime at Peterborough STEM Festival since 2016 (waaay before all these YouTuber upstarts!) and here are our two recipes for you to try at home.

Remember to always have an adult with you when making slime.  You might think it’s fun at the time but try explaining why your little brother’s hair is full of slime or how it all got poured onto the living room carpet.

This is probably the more popular type of slime or goo you’ll find when following online recipes.  Make sure you Google Borax and research it before deciding that it is a safe ingredient for you.
